Florence Kerr was born in Ohio in November 1885, the daughter of John and Zue Kurr. The family moved to Glasgow, Montana, in 1891. Florence studied pre-law at Oberlin and assisted her father in his law practice. Florence married Thomas Facey about 1910 and assisted him in running his Malta mercantile and theater businesses. She served as a Republican in the 1923 Montana legislature and was the first women to serve on the House Committee on Revenue and Taxation. She was a longtime reporter, worki...
